Refund Policy - The Basics

 

At Emily McNeel Photography, we are committed to providing high-quality photography services and a positive client experience. Please read our refund policy carefully before booking.

General Policy

All payments made for photography services (including deposits and balances) are non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Session deposits

  • Travel fees

  • Event photography packages

  • Digital file purchases

Your payment reserves your date and time and prevents us from booking other clients during that slot.

Exceptions – Refunds May Be Issued In These Circumstances:

Refunds may be granted at our discretion in the event of the following:

  • Cancellation by Photographer: If we must cancel your session or event due to illness, emergency, or a scheduling conflict, a full refund will be issued.

  • Extreme Weather Conditions: If severe weather (e.g., heavy storms, flooding, etc.) prevents the session from taking place and rescheduling is not possible, a refund may be offered.

  • Family or Personal Emergencies: If you experience a verified family emergency or serious personal situation that prevents you from attending or rescheduling, we may provide a refund or credit at our discretion.

  • Travel Conflicts (Photographer-Initiated): If we are unable to travel for your scheduled session due to travel restrictions, emergencies, or transportation issues, a full or partial refund may be issued.

Rescheduling Policy

If you need to reschedule your session, please provide at least 72 hours’ notice. We will make every effort to accommodate a new date and time. Rescheduling does not guarantee a refund unless covered by the exceptions above.

Digital Goods

Due to the nature of digital products (such as final edited photos or downloads), all digital sales are final and non-refundable once delivered.

If you believe your situation qualifies for a refund under this policy, please contact us in writing within 7 days of the scheduled service or incident.Please include your name, event date, and the reason for your request.

By booking our services, you acknowledge and agree to this refund policy. We truly value your business and strive to be fair and flexible where possible.
